Awful damn quiet before the game. Not one shred of credit given to the Cats for beating what was once a Top 10 team on the road.

but, predictably, after their team rallies from 3 points down to win the game they come over here chirping about all-time series records and how ku is just head and shoulders above Kstate. ku is better no doubt, but we're not going anywhere either.

I guess what I'm saying is that Kstate is still very much a contender in the North if we can find a way to beat CU this weekend and Ostate looks beatable if our defense can find its rythmn like it had in Austin.

Watch out for your hangover ku. We had ours.

You hang out on Phog, so you know that's not true.  Jayhox took a beating for trying to downplay KSU's win, and there were plenty of posters, including myself, singing the praises of both Prince and KSU following that game.  What I said then is still true today: Ron Prince can coach.  One game doesn't disprove that statement.

It's interesting that you would be calling out ku fans however, Book, since you've been running your mouth all season long over on Phog, and after ku delivers...you're nowhere to be found.  It's even more interesting because I specifically asked you if you'd be over there if ku won, and you said that you would, indeed, show up.

Now, you and Offut/AFCat are the only regular KSU posters on Phog who have failed to show.

ku fans are so predictable because 90% of them never step foot on their campus.

If we're talking basketball, and if by "90%" you mean "many," then I agree.

And some of that minority 10% become KSt8 fans

I'vew always been amazed that they (phoggies) "know" so many people.  People "in the know".  Or the always believable "friends of mine who are long time Cat fans".

I have to chuckle.

I also was curious about the "Fallujah Effect". The phenomenon of how poorly each and every ku fan was treated at the game/post game.

well, i make it a personal goal to make one bleed when im at games.

last time, it was 6 of them that found me since i had strayed away from my group.

it was like those nat'l geographic films when the wilderbeast is drinking from the river full of gay crocodiles.

I went over there and clicked on a thread titled "Congrats ku"..from a guy who posts as Manhatter. I'm sure you're familiar. His post was a bit backhanded but it did give credit where it was due.

and what did he get in response from most of the phog.netters?

"suck it loser"

"YOU(R) and idiot"

"Kstate sucks ass, go take a hike b!tch"....

"we own you now"

"Kstate is terrible"...

etc etc..blah fracking blah...

I would say congrats if I knew it could go to the right people who deserve the credit...but for the most part, phog.net is ruined by these ku fans that have such a jealous axe to grind against Kstate, Mizzou...basically EVERYONE in general that it isn't even worth it.

Besides, if we would have won, would YOU be over on KSU.FANS? Be honest.

Absolutely not, and I have no trouble admitting it.  The difference is that I'm generally not over here, Book, and you're a pretty consistent visitor over on The Phog.  The last time I was on KSUFans, prior to this, was right after the Huggins announcement.

I just think it's funny that I made a point to ask you if you'd be back in the aftermath of a KSU loss, and you assured me that you would, indeed, be back.

And to think I took you as a man of your word, bookie.  I'm disappointed.

The difference, as I already explained, is that I'm not over here constantly bumping my gums like you are over on Phog.  I didn't talk sh*t for months, and then bail when it came time to pay the piper.

I came here to view the carnage, and it's been fun.

I mean, Christ book...even Hatter came over and prostrated himself, even if it was with fingers crossed.  You're MIA.  For someone who's normally as visible as you, that's just disappointing, bro.

bumping gums, isn't that something you do over at larryville?

and it's actually rusty that is the bad poster.  he feels he needs to leave 70 comments all over everyones post, when it isn't his damn business.

Can we please review who are "good posters, bad posters, and average posters"?  I would regard CF20012002 as a "bad poster", but not Bookcat.   :billypopcorn:

I'm an admin, it wouldn't be appropriate.  That is more of a Kat Kid thread, or maybe even pissclams.
