Damn, I wish Cu was ranked.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I was over on my team's board.  Pretty sure this will be the second post I've made on an opponent's board since Huggins left KSU, and I was over here for awhile.  I generally don't feel the need to travel abroad, but today is a special occasion.

Had your boys showed up on Phog, outside of a few half-hearted "Congrats, I guess" posts, I wouldn't feel the need to venture over here.

As it is, I like watching Wildcat fans suffer, and Hatter in particular make excuses.

That is probably about right for ku they earned it.  What amazes me is how few undefeated teams there are left this early in the season.  It's a new era of college football I mean look at that top 5 Boston College, South Florida and California are in it.  Wasn't that long ago we opened the year with Cal and they were coming off a 1 win season and it wasn't that long ago that South Florida was playing club football.

Missouri is a team up until last year we had beaten 13 years in row and now they are ranked 11th and they beat Nebraska by 40 points last night.  I'm just not sure that teams are going be able to dominate other teams like that much anymore.  Everyone has good facilities and good coaches and everyone spends the money on football.  With the exception of teams like Stanford, Duke, Baylor, and Northwestern just about every BCS school out there is capable of putting together a good team in a given year.  Not sure you're going to see the same schools at the bottom of conferences year after year like you used to see.

Who is suffering?  It must have been really unsatisfying to see the lack of meltdowns.  Go over to Nebraska's board if you are truly into pain.

The truth is, I really don't look at ku as a special game.  It isn't "circled" on my calendar.  I like to beat UT and NU.  Losing to ku is annoying and disappointing, but not meltdown worthy.  Good luck on getting Bowl Game Eligible guys.  With that high AP ranking everyone will be gunning for ya!

Well, It's obvious Mangino cares about MU/KSU. 6-6 vs those teams, 6-23 vs the rest.

Why is this so hard to believe?  I was born in 1985 and I came of age during Snyder's hey-dey and Nebraska was always a better/more meaningful game.  We always beat the crap out of Mizzou and ku when I was going to games.  ku, Mizzou and Iowa State are really interchangeable to me.

ku Basketball I really hate because of the streak and the utter domination.  ku football and Mangino is laughable until you guys at least win a North title.  Then I might start to put you up with Nebraska and Texas in terms of importance.

So until Bill Snyder played for the Big 12 title, K-State football was "laughable" under him.

Huh.

Go back to the phog and start 90 threads about your real rival, supposedly, missouri.  if they are in fact your rival, then threads should start now and not end right up until the game, without one thread about kstate. that is, if missouri is your real rival.
