How do you explain Prince having a better conference record his 1st season, than Mangino in his 5th season?

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

ECN gets what I'm saying here.  Its not that Prince can't win games, its that he can't beat Snyder disciples.  Its kind of tongue in cheek boys so just go with it.   :D

OSU's a road game, we shouldn't expect to win a road game (unless it's Texas).  We have to go 3-1 in our next four if we want any shot at going to a bowl game.  Then somehow hope that Mu has started their season end spiral they usually are on.  I think Fresno will score all over us.

Prince took over for a coaching legend 2 years removed from a Big XII title.  Mangino took over for Spaulding Schmales.  Its tough to compare the two evenly.

ku is better than any of us thought.  I'd be shocked if they aren't top 20 at the end of the season.  I also think we're a little better than most thought at the beginning of the season, the team today was not the team that beat tx.  another 4 win big 12 season would be fine as long as we recruit well this year.


Hillwalking prince has done pretty well, we were terry allen bad in 04 and 05.

prince also took over a 5-6 team, however im not making excuses, i'm frustrated w/ our team right now they looked so flat today, props to ku they did what they had to do

I'm not saying he hasn't done well, but there is no way you go from conference champions to Terry Allen bad in 2 years.  The brilliant ballet of ineptitude that Booger danced was a sight to behold.  Ymon Figurs has more football talent in his pinky fingernail than some of those Schmales teams had.

Mangino is a good/average coach.  He will occassionally beat a rival and get to a bowl game.  Right now, that is Prince as well.  ku and K-state will be evenly matched for the forseeable future.  I miss the DOD.

The team was garbage when Prince took over. There is a reason we were dead last in the 2006 preeseason poll.

not trying to disagree at all..but part of the reason we were picked dead last in 06 is because we had some guy named Ron Prince as our first year head coach.
