    The very best.
and 6 wins vs the other 9 teams.

Jesus.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He beats the teams he needs to in order to keep food on the table.

Its what keeps his job safely in hand.  Its actually a brilliant strategy by him.  Athletic dept. told him, "we don't care what you do here as long as you beat KSU & MU!"  He listened.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not but regardless, you guys could make a legitimate run at a conference championship and 9-10 wins this year.  Your guys outplayed ours (except for Jordy-man that white boy can run) at home and in my opinion that's pretty impressive.

Mangino is a brilliant man.  He goes balls to the wall against K-state and Mizzou, and sets up his noncon to get to a bowl every year.  That's all ku fans really care about.  After Terry Allen, all ku wanted was a coach that could beat their rivals and make them a respectable team.  Mangino has done that.  So, in his and ku's goals, he's been a huge success.

Name a game that ku won't be favored in the remaining part of the year?  Maybe the MU game?

I don't know ku's schedule.  But without a bye week they are very average.

ku is solid, we played like crap, the game was within 6 points, they won't have 2 weeks to prepare for anyone else.

ku is indeed solid.  I'll also be interested to see how they'll do now that other teams will have some film of them playing a non-high school team.

ku didnt play well.  in fact they tried to lose the game but we just wouldnt let them.  they arent that good and neither are we.  ku shouldnt be favored against mizzou, colorado or nebraska and i dont know/or care what south teams they play against but id be surprised if they win more than 8 games this year before their bowl game.

ku aren't world beaters, but they are solid, solid teams overcome mistakes, which they did today.

Mangino has incentives in his contract that give him big money for wins over KSU/MU (and only over KSU/MU), does he not?  I thought I read that he gets $100,000 for a win over KSU.  I imagine that RP's contract doesn't include a "ku incentive," but perhaps it should (since they're kicking our asses).

Before his new contract, it was $5,000 for wins over KSU and Mizzou.

In the new contract, it's $10,000 for KSU and Mizzou.

In 2004 he beat KSU, then lost to Texas the next week and gave the Big 12 his bonus check.
