What on earth was Prince referring to, and why haven't we seen something?

I think what he was referring to are 3rd down plays designed to actually pick up first downs.  Maybe RP needs a monitor down on the sideline so he can see that yellow line on the field they need to cross.

Yeah... some of those runs on 3rd and 10 were driving me nuts. When Prince mentioned things that we haven't "had to reveal" before the TX game, and last week, I was really expecting something out of the downfield game, or some more misdirection plays, something noticibly different.  :-[

the td to jordy on man coverage was something we hadn't seen yet.

I really don't understand, there were a lot of times when ku had 1 deep with press coverage on the far reciever and we only went there 1 time.

1 play in an entire game doesn't exactly qualify. I feel like Prince is still walking before he runs with Freeman. After all, he's just a true sophomore.

Come on... let the man throw something longer than 5 yard screens. Franklin???

Franklin is the coordinator but prince has plenty of say in the playcalling, and yes it is very conservative.

Except at the points in the game when it would be ideal to be conservative, ie, 3rd and short just before half.

True but is it more Josh or more the OL?  I think it's more the latter, they were downright putrid yesterday.

He must've been referring to the defense where they cover the slot receiver on the side that the outside linebacker is blitzing from.    :blindfold:

He said that before the Texas game and the one new thing we did in that game and vs. ku was we ran a lot more zone coverage.

Jesus, you dolts actually bought in to that coach speak? Bwahahahahaha. "Things we haven't had to reveal"....in a LOSS at Auburn and playing at # 7 Texas (a game which wasn't out of hand until a couple of flukes late in the 3rd quarter). Boy, that's rich. He was just keepin' em in his back pocket for ku, the best team you'll face this year (maybe Missouri is better).  Then he decided maybe he'll keep for the CU game next week.
