Yes I was out at the bars tonight and there are a lot of ku fans out tonight. At least the ones that I have talked to haven't gotten there hopes up to high. The main reason being that they are 2-20 under Mangino in the Big XII on the road. They think they have a good team but until they prove it on the road they are keeping their excitement to a minimum. I don't think we can hold them without a touchdown tomorrow, but however I do think we can win pretty easily. KSU 42- ku 13
Yes! Our confidence worries me a bit, considering our competition.
I was pulling for you all during the Auburn game -- BAD ku FAN THAT I AM. But I haven't figured your team out yet. I saw Texas as weak, as did the whole country after the first few weeks, from the start -- though perennial, initial positions prevented it's fall from grace.
I honestly think we've got you matched relatively evenly, personnel wise, and, thus far, Reesing appears to be far more comfortable in his skin, so to speak, than does Freeman. But who knows what will happen in Manhattan. Reesing hasn't really proven that he can overcome a hostile crowd. This game is up for grabs if the offenses retain control of the game.
