From the Worcester County District Attorney's office:

"In the matter of Commonwealth vs. Tyree Evans, the case was continued from today to June 29, 2006 for a pre-trial conference. There is no trial date scheduled as of yet."

Someone go tell the folks at GPC.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Tell me about it.  Despite ridiculous claims to the contrary, GPC has never been first to break anything.  It's a pretty good gig they have over there.  Wait for some poster out of nowhere to break a story, then claim it was them.  Sometimes a wonder why I subscribe.  I'm not even sure that anyone on staff has posted anything all day over there.

You got it Fatty.  Actually, the articles are good over there, and that's the reason I subscribe.  I think that they take themselves too seriously as journalists at times, and are not willing to occasionally step out on a limb.  I'd like to see some bulldog-style story breaking from those guys every once in a while.  Maybe they should hire Jack Harry.
