Basketball Benches moving to West Side...

In my renewals it says that they are moving the benches to the West Side in order to comply with a Big 12 request.

Having the benches on the student side was the one positive legacy of the Asbury regime.

Which schools do you think pushed this one?  Once they realized how loud and crazy a Huggygized Student Section would be I bet there was some serious whining.

I remember something about how the home team's bench would have to be closest to the pep band.  Is this b/c of that?  Any idea why?

Back when we had the team on the other side, there was a at least one row of students down on the floor that sat in folding chairs where the team is now.  I would be right in the ear of the players when they were inbounding from the hash mark.  Because I was there every game I can testify that with 100% confidence that Patrich Richey is a douche, but I was very impressed with Sean Pearson's ability to ignore the crowd considering I said things to him that probably reserved my spot in hell...

Back in the day, I dropped a slice of piping hot pizza on Scott Pollard's woman.

Hilarity ensued.

That was the other positive from Asbury, pizza for the students.

I hated that damn pizza.  It just reminded me of how depressingly quiet the fans were for the majority of the game.  Yeah, I understand that there was a reason for that, but the reminder wasn't worth the single slice I managed to get every other game or so.
