    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

That poor holder.  Probably thought he could just roll out and jog it in for two.  By the end of the play, there are two hawks in frame against seven cats, and absolutely nobody in the end zone to throw to.

Great video.  That was actually 1999.  I had been wondering if the 50-9 final score was the result of 3 field goals or if it involved a missed PAT which apparently is the case.  So I guess it has been 8 years rather than 10 years since ku has scored a TD in Manhattan. (sigh)

Here's a few facts for October, 1999:

I was still in school for another couple of months (I'm now 30)
George W Bush was governor of texas
Musharraf takes over Pakistan
texas a&m prepared to build their amazing falling lincoln log pile
Boris Yeltsin was still in office
The Panama Canal was still in US hands
wilt chamberlain croaked
War still raged in Kosovo
Everyone was  :ohno: over the upcoming Y2K catastrophe
Most of the US didn't know who osama bin laden was
The Dow Jones was around 11,000 (now at 14,000)
The Rams were suddenly and amazingly good under an Arena League QB
Elian Gonzalez hadn't left Cuba yet
al gore was still only half crazy
Windows 98 was still the dominant OS.  M.E. wasn't scheduled for release for another year.
Dirty old men (like Jeffy) were drooling over britney
Derrick Thomas was still playing
We were going to kill the next person who played that damn 17-year old Prince song
PS1's were "badass"
