We left Cox "Rattled all week" and McCoy ralphing all over himself like some sort of drunk idiot.

You have to think that Reesing is a little intimidated coming into Manhattan and facing a defense that has just destroyed opposing quarterbacks.

Except that both teams know that this will be the best offensive line we will have faced so far.  If we can get pressure only blitzing one player, I think it's game over.  If mighty mouse gets time, we're in for a shootout.

He'll roll out on broken plays. If he finds a guy they can move the ball. This is dependent on their running game. not sure if they can run it very well on us.

Rolling out is a bad idea.  The 3-4 is implemented to increase speed to the sidelines.  Reesing will take a lot of shots regardless if he makes the completion.  And as we saw last year in Lawrence, rolling out also cuts down the area the secondary needs to protect.

Did you see what happened when McCoy rolled out on a broken play?  And I think Reesing might be a bit more agile than McCoy.  Not sure about that, I've never seen Reesing play.  But I figure you can take what JayHox says and cut the studliness in half, and then Toddy's only slightly less godly than Superman.  Containment.  The D needs to stick to their assignments, the pressure will come and Reesing won't be able to sneak through for 30 on us.

Our FBIQ is very low with regards to ukan due to the fact they decided not play a televised game....very scary smart on Mangina's part.  Hard scout what you can't see.

That's Jordy and Deon's philosophy.

did you see what happened to mccoy when it was a designed roll out?  he had success when he was forced to roll out of the pocket but when it was designed he got drilled, once by childs who actually pulled up before he hit him.

Wasn't that the touchdown pass?   :blindfold:

The touchdown pass shouldn't have happened and won't against ku. First off, they don't have a receiver that is nearly as talented as Quan Cosby, I'm guessing - he caught the ball over two of our corners, it definitely wasn't an easy catch. Secondly, McKinney had perfect coverage until he pulled up because he thought Colt would run it. That's why designed plays probably won't work too well against us and it being a broken play helped them.

Yeah, Cosby's didn't really have any business catching the ball.  He just out-athleted our secondary like only a texas player can.

Hopefully Mckinney can keep it up this week because ku doesn't have anywhere near that type of athleticism (including Aqib "God" Talib).
