Number of African American Students on Main Campus-2007 Fall 20th Day Report Kansas Board of Regents:

JCCC-L: 770 (year over year decline of 60)

KSU:  818 (year over year increase of 58)

Total Number of Non-White American Citizen Students on campus-2007 Fall 20th Day Report Kansas Board of Regents:

JCCC-L:  2,772 (year over year decline of 206)

KSU:  2,374 (year over year increase of 93)

Are the years of racism coming from Robert Hemmenway finally starting to take its toll on diversity at JCCC-L??   Meanwhile minorities are beginning to find out that they have a home at KSU where they are welcome.

Yeah, it probably is weak smack. That doesn't take away from the fact that it is a really interesting piece of information/very good for KSU. Wefald and Bosco have been trying for years to increase our minority numbers and they are increasing while the other major university in the state's numbers are decreasing. This is beneficial for K-State. I wonder what BMW's take is on this..

Yes.  Just ask Wilt Chamberlain.  He lost track of the racial slurs and restaurants that wouldn't serve him in L-town.

When the phog always wants to talk about "diversity" I feel an obligation to point out just how undiverse JCCC-L has become.   Pretty sad given JCCC-L's proximity to urban population centers.
