    The very best.
2002: 9-27-0-1 74 yards
2003: 12-19-0-1 71 yards
2004: 14-27-3-0  137 yards
2005: 8-22-0-0   127 yards
2006: 11-23-0-2 108 yards

Outside of their running attack last year (when we were playing 3rd stringers, Raheem day-dreaming about moving back to Tampa) Mangino's offense has never done sh1t vs KSU. 6 TD's in 5 games.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Hell, 6'3" Colt McCoy had trouble getting the ball past the line of scrimmage without getting tipped.  I think it's quite logical to think 5'10" Todd Reesing may have similar issues.

Sproles was 5'7''.  Height=Jack.

I don't seem to recall Sproles trying to throw line drive passes over 6'5" defensive linemen.  If he had, I believe he would have had some problems.

Sproles was 5'7''.  Height=Jack.
sproles=5'6 1/8"
sproles also= rb
thus sproles=short^sproles was a runningback
now
reesing=qb
qb=throwing over big men (o-lineman)
reesing=short
thus reesing=short^reesing=qb^qb must throw over men of large proportion
this=possible problem if large men (o-lineman get driven back, d-lineman under their pads forcing them up)
now if KSU's d-line is good, which was proven by test example T (for Texas)  this becomes a problem

(studying geometry & logic)

    warm up the EMAW
I'm not trying to pee on anyone's parade here, but Height doesn't have everything to do with having passes batted down.  It also has to do with staring down recievers, the O-line not creating passing lanes and the d-line not getting pushed around the pocket instead of collapsing it.

We did a great job of knocking down balls @ UT.  That really doesn't have a lot to do with Colt being 6'3" or Reesing being 5'2".

Hope that Helps.

Because Sproles threw so many passes from behind the line of scrimmage.   :rolleyes:

Step 1:  Take head out of ass.

Possibly true , however QB performance can be directly related to being concussed, having your brain jarred loose from the spinal column, and having your cleat stuck in your earhole.

call me crazy but the running back doesnt throw many passes over the line. thats why he's called the running back...because he runs.

Where do the number of passing attempts on the road become relevant?  Essentially hes a frosh, because he wasnt the starter last year.  He is inexperienced in general, whether it be home or on the road, but you seem to be hyping this 13 pass attempts thing.

Height isnt a huge factor in tipped balls.  A QB playing smart can overcome this to an extent.  It is not logical to say no QB will never have a tipped ball.  Vision of QB can do wonders in this area.  Am I saying Reesing has vision? No.  I dont know if he does or not.  I will however say, I have not been at all impressed with Colt McCoy, and drawing conclusions on what a QB can do based on what an underachieving one has done is a bit of a stretch.

C'mon stunner don't go limiting your stats to road games, that does not illustrate Reesing's capacity...Even tho this is a road game.  Just like we can't use Freeman's home stats and have to include Baylor/Bowl/ku stats, etc when making comparisons.

And of course the routes the receivers are running.  More specifically how far downfield said routes are.  Freeman would've had a bunch of tipped passes had he been the Texas QB last Saturday.

You ALL have to admit that a Doug Flutie, Reesing is not. Actually until he became starter at JCCC-L, I didn't even know the cute little fella existed. When I look at him, I think, "Ahh, isn't that precious - he is just like a NCAA QB... only teeny."

Comparison - if JF = an orange, than Reesing = kumquot

He goes from playing in two  :sleep: environments to playing at an extremely hostile environment.

Do you remember when we were a "top 25 toughest place to play" in the NCAA video games, when we were good?  We're ranked now, and no doubt people will be going that much crazier.

I think we'll win, but don't write them off either.  Last year we beat Texas and just didn't show up against ku.  We cannot do that this year.  At least Prince sounded focused yesterday at the presser.  Maybe they can't run the same bullcrap this year at our place, but let's get cocky after the win, not before.

On wall of Vanier complex entryway there's a countdown clock set for Saturday morning, underneath that clock is a sign that says "BEAT ku" in huge letters.
