keitz commented on this a little bit, said "nothing good can come from this, but doesnt mean anything bad either"

huggins and his lawyer are probably using his popularity/season ticket sales as leverage to get some things added or removed from the contract.

I think it looks like Huggins really doesn't pay too much attention to this kind of stuff.  That's what his lawyer is for, after all.

Epps getting all worked up is funny/bad.

After the way things ended at Cincy, and if you've read the letters between Katz and Zimpher, it should be no surprise that Katz is trying to make everything in the contract as specific and clear as possible.

Lawyers are silly.  :banghead:

This article leads me to believe that Bob Huggins is suing Kansas State University (KSU).

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'm just not getting that.  Don't get me wrong, I think Huggins should definitely sue KSU and also the NCAA.  I just don't think he is...yet.

Agreed but it's definately a sign that something bigger is coming.
This 'waiting game' as lawyers like to call it is just the preamble to the biggest lawsuit in the history of the United States.

Doubtful.  I can pretty much guarantee that they're haggling over the language of a morals clause.  Bad form to include those as they're offensive and almost never enforceable.

You're doubtful.
Only women would haggle this long, you calling Huggins a woman?

Listen man, If it smells like the preamble to the biggest lawsuit in the history of the United States and barks like the preamble to the biggest lawsuit in the history of the United States, guess what?  It's the preamble to the biggest lawsuit in the history of the United States (US).

Thanks C1, let's just say I have my eye on Kansas State Head Mens Basketball Coach Bob Huggins and can sniff large lawsuits from at least a mile away (only very, very large lawsuits).

No way it's bigger than the tobacco litigation.  No...freakin'...way.  So, at best, it will only be the second biggest lawsuit in the history of the United States.

There are 3 reasons it might have drug on this long:

1. Huggy's waiting on an offer from another program and never really intended to coach at KSU.
2. Someone's lawyer is billing hourly which, in an agent/institution deal, I wouldn't expect.
3. Minor but aggravating details are still in play.

Take your pick but I've got a case of beer that says there'll be no suit before the contract is signed.
