    The very best.
3.3 ypc isn't good.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

No, it's not, but when you've got two mentally retarded QB's on your team, just hand the ball off and play field position (they had a good defense that year).  Instead Barman's flopping around in the endzone.

Just my opinion, but I blame those two years on:

1. Mr. Elliot
2. Lack of talent at the skill positions sans RB.

Most of all, the defense.

The Mangino to Wooly comparison is so close it isn't even funny.  Both couldn't win on the road and lost a bunch of close games.  Wooly started his last year with what seemed like decent wins vs a previous NCAA team with a lot back (CS-Fullerton) and what many thought was a decent team in CSU.  Even got some top 25 votes.  Of course Big 12 play came, and reality showed through again....

Crap...  Wooly did go to Lawrence and win...

So is someone implying that the program Ron Prince inherited from Bill Snyder is comparable to the program Mangino inherited from Terry Allen?

Didn't ku beat KSU 3 years ago?

So, as of that date ku  > KSU

ku also went to a bowl and KSU didn't.  Mangino has had 3 years SINCE that date with his own guys/coaches/system.

the KSU program RP inherited was, by definition, behind ku that season.

FYP

Nothing at all wrong with offensive talent surrounding the QB.  They were very, very good.  Mostly the same guys who surrounded Roberson in 03.

Defensively they were just a mess, though they had some good players.

Even if one truly believes that there was a MAJOR talent dropoff after 03.  They didn't have last place talent.  They finished last place two years in a row.  Last place teams generally don't have Heisman finalists and multiple NFL draft picks on them.
