hilarious watching some isolated shots from Saturday. Texas was supposed to have the best interior DL in the conference w/ an argument coming from OU.
On one run play you can see the difference in Spexarth...UT's Roy Miller gets off the line quick and knocks him a step into the backfield but Spex anchors and then moves w/ him laterally eventually knocking him back and creating a running lane as Patton picks up an extra 5 yards. Beautiful to watch.
Anybody notice on the last TD run by JJ that Bedore takes UT senior DT starter Derek Lokey and dumps him on his arse in the endzone? Just manhandles him and then throws him like a doll a few yards back into the endzone. Good stuff.
Some of these kids all grows up. It's coming together...still not there yet and would like some more dominators for the future but they're getting it done now.
Wow...3 sacks through 4 games.
