I think that's in NJ's analysis. Another Jayhox Gem:

I watched the game with some other people and we were being honest with ourselves about what we would be up against next week based on what happened today.  Our common response:  Don't be as ****-a$$ed stupid and horrible as UT and maintain zones during special teams.

I like how he maintains that Texas lost again because of their arrogance.

I wonder what negative thoughts his KSU brother-in-law had following the game.

They said we get slaughtered by Auburn..and when that didn't happen, they bashed Auburn as the worst team in teh SEC. After they beat Florida..then Florida was simply overrated.

They said we would get creamed by Texas and that we'd have a ton of injuries just in time for ku to show up. Neither of those things happened..and now they're bashing Texas as the "worst Texas team since 1997".

It's comical.

I gurantee if we win (and we will) this Saturday...that tehy will fire up the ban-0-matic and myself, Rusty, ksustunner will be given the boot without even posting.

I'm sure his KSU in-laws were just being honest.

You guys went out and punched them in the mouth last year with a few nice drives, some trick plays, and special teams work.  UT didn't know how to react and it was too late when they finally did.

I thought the same thing today when you marched down the field and scored on the first drive.  But instead, the rest of the first half was a boring mosh of crappy play on both ends with a flurry in the last couple of minutes.  UT just laid down more and more on OFFENSE and refused to replace a thoroughly retarded Colt McCoy.  Am I supposed to congratulate K-State for THAT?

That might be the best analysis ever. We punched them in the mouth, they didn't know how to react and it was too late when they did. Yet, it was tied in the 3rd quarter. He thought the same thing today when we marched down the field. I guess he forgot that Texas marched down the field to tie it up.

    The very best.
We on the road vs a top 10 team.

Did they expect us to rack up 400 yards?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

South Florida is better this year. That was last year. Also, UT of 2006> UT of 2007

Also, KState 2006<2007.

Last year was last year.

Also, ku had Cornish last year. fwiw

So, we are sitting at 0-0-3-1.  0 victories, 0 moral victories, 3 moral losses and 1 actual loss.  The actual loss being worse than it was because it was against Auburn, who is terrible.

We didn't score enough on SJSU..Moral loss
We let Mstate score 10...Moral loss
We didn't score enough on offense agaisnt Texas and relied too much on JNelson...Moral loss

Knowing last Saturday's win will actually hurt our team, Hox cheered on his Wildcats against the Longhorns with great fervor!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Jeezus... just for once, give K-State some credit. They're good.

The majority of ku fans on here were acting like Texas would blow out K-State. Now, Texas just isn't any good? Please... K-State has playmakers, they've got a good coaching staff, and they're for real.

Give it up, man.  Please.

I'd like to thank those ku fans pointing out what a tool hox is making of himself here.

Hox fancies himself as the board Rush Limbaugh.  No reason to worry about facts, just talk real loud all the time and never, ever admit you're wrong.

I will give him credit.  In the past he has run and hid when it became obvious he didn't know shi+ from apple butter.  Today he has decided to follow his hero and just make a bunch of stuff up rather than admit he was (gasp) wrong.

Good job hox.

midhawk, my favorite ku poster. He's been knocking Jayhox for years.

Good lord, Hox.

I can't stand Alan Colmes.  For me to be Alan Colmes I'd have to be posting on a KSU board agreeing with them about what a tool you are.  I'm on this board joining with a bunch of ku fans about what a tool you are.  You are embarrassing (and, here's a major hint, we get to play these people next week.  Nothing your loud mouth, chicken-shi+ board personna has said is going to matter).

I must concur, KSU is 0-3-1

0 wins

3 moral losses

1 outright loss

This is all because football now has judges, and the French and Russian judges simply didn't like our double salkows (sp??) in the San Jose, Mo State and Texas games, and the Chinese and Spanish judges hated our short program and compulsorys.

ku is indeed #1 in Kick Returns, and K-State is #1 in Punt Returns.

Wow...only 9 kick returns in 4 games.  That's probably more impressive than their return average.

Isn't returning kicks more dependent on a good PKer, whereas returning punts is dependent on returner + protection + flat kick (e.g., UT's poor punt was not returnable).

ku tho is hard to judge due to their stellar D limiting kicks (9 total for 4 games).

Using P Rets may be a better stat to compare...about same number tries and TDs, yet we have greater yardage.  Again, this seems to be due to ku's stellar D and the offensive jaugernauts they played being pinned deep in their territory -- therefore they could run it back in as little as 40 yds.  We just have had a harder time keeping ranked opponents pinned deep so we've been fortunate to have a full field to cover. However, even tho our SOS is better, I'm sure the kicking units/special teams are similar.

i just read a post on the phog.net forum that reads "if you want to compare size, try your d-line to our o-line". as any football fan knows, defense is about speed not size. sure a big o-line can stop a rush for 2-3 seconds but once they get a swim move put on em or a decent stunt by the line, its all but over for the opposing qb.
