October 9, 1999? Do you even remember how they scored? Pass or Run? I had to look it up. God they are an inept football program.

    The very best.
just say it's 1997. No one will notice because ku fans don't have the stomach to look up a boxscore from a game they lost 50-9.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Was that the year we had like 14 penalties?  I think I remember Frank Murphy taking the first play like 45 yards.  Was that the game?  I was there... just don't remember the details.

Nope. Allen and Joe Hall were our RBs. You're right about the penalities though, 18 for 162 yds according to the media guide. Nice call.  :katpak:

1997 is the last time ku scored a TD in Manhattan.

In fact they have only scored 3 TDs since 1991.

We try to point this little historical tidbit and ku fans want to state that the team with a bye week prior to Ksu-ku has won 5 straight times.

Of course 4 of the 5 winning teams were the team playing at home (Ksu won in 96 at ku despite ku having an off week)

    Since 1996
I think it might have been the game I remember walking through the RV tailgaters on the east side parking lot and someone had printed out a blown up picture of Terry Allen picking his nose.

I think you would be right because that is when that picture came out.  The thing I remember the most was that it was my favorite pre-game Willie skit of all time.  It had and Austin Powers theme with a Jayhawk playing Dr. Evil on the jumbotron.
