The hilarity of this statement, I fear, will never dawn on you.

Washburn Rural hasn't been to a State Championship game since the 80's IIRC.  I think they won it..what, in 1986?

Rural went to one in the 90's.  Hasn't won one since 89.

So you told us something really stupid, got ripped to shreds, now distancing yourself by telling us you're making it up?

Dude, you don't get credibility by making crap up.

So when I told you not to post, take it seriously and do so.   Anything you post will automatically be discredited.

I was there when Mike Lawrence outgained Heisman Hypeful Troy Davis in the rain at home against ISU in 1996.

I was there when Heisman eventual Winner Ricky Williams was held for negative yards rushing against Texas in 1997.

I was there to see Chris Simms eat us alive with the passing, I was there to see two of Dr. Tom's MNC bound Huskers roll right over us, I was there to see Travis Ochs almost twist Eric Crouch's head off.

I was there to see Justin Swift go crazy in the snow against Colorado.

I was there to see Rick Neuheisel run to the corner of the stadium to celebrate with the travelling Buff fans as they would go to the Cotton Bowl and we got to go to the Holiday Bowl.

I was there when Matt Miller got knocked out of the game by Colorado State and Brian Kavanaugh came in the game and OWNED them to win the '95 Holiday Bowl.

I was there to see us beat both Donovan McNabb in the '97 Fiesta and Carson Palmer at home in '02.

I was there that magical night when Willie got up on top of the press box to lead the entire stadium with a K-S-U chant before we beat the Huskers on a last minute touchdown pass to Quincy Morgan.

I was there in the rain to watch the O-State cheerleaders playing slip-n-slide on the rainy turf with the K-State cheerleaders in '94.

I was there in the blazing oppressive heat of Arrowhead to suffer through a game against Iowa.  I was there in freezing death cold in the upper deck of Arrowhead as we got smothered by a MNC bound Oklahoma team in 2000.

I've seen more college football in person than you have ever dared to play on your Playstation 2.

See you on Saturday.

Oh, and Go Cats.    :nahnah:

I can honestly say I was there for each of those as well.  Was also there for Austin Peay's victory though was too young to remember it.

Yeah, except it was 1998 that we played Texas and Ricky Williams.  And he was not held to negative yards rushing.  I believe it was something like 42 yards on 28 attempts for about a 1.5 YPC average.  It was amazing when our D played like that.

Then was it the team that had negative yards rushing?  I just remember us hitting Ricky Williams behind the line on almost every one of his rushing attempts.  I've never seen a run defense dominate like that.

Is that the game where we booted that kickoff 10 yards and recovered it in the first quarter?  Hot damn that was back when Bill used to call tricky plays like Ron Prince.

Unless you sack up and at least give yr school and position we are all going to assume you are a total fraud.

Washburn Rural and DE, now do your research and find the years yourself.
Wow, you are almost 40.
Which makes this absolutely hilarious:

I bet I would beat your ass in a fist fight.  Rural is the biggest vag school in Kansas.  Even worse than Central or the Blue Valleys.

HAHAHA   You are a fracking tool.  WR went undefeated my senior year.  We probably beat the hell out of the school you played for and then ran the "train" on your girlfriend, sister and mother afterwards.

If you are man enough, bring it.  If not, shut your fracking mouth.

Name the place and time, jerkoff.  That is, unless you are scared.

and makes him bragging about his high schools days (over two decades ago) painfully depressing/extremely hilarious.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I think playing on 2 Kansas State 5A championship teams (starting on one) is enough football knowledge for this forum.  Can you say that?  Didn't think so,

It's a tremendous challenge here. I think it has the opportunity for the greatest turnaround in college football. It is not one to be taken lightly. ---------- Bill Snyder ( Nov 30th, 1988)

Got a 'B' in HS Alegbra

And remember, you did lose to an Auburn team that was less than impressive in its first 4 games.

Auburn just beat Florida @ you retard. God your a joke! And no crap it's not the same team as it was w/ VY, God your a genius.

I said Auburn was less than impressive in the first 4 games.  They played Auburn the 5th game.  Maybe you should read the posts before responding.

I can get along w/ KSU fans if they have knowledge of the game.  But I don't have tolerance for stupid people.  And you, sir, are a stupid person.

BTW, ku beat the same S. Florida team last year 13-7.

You can't beat the same team in different years.  2006 S. Florida is not the same team as 2007 S. Florida.

I can't believe this thread turned so much for the worse, so quickly.  A 40 year old bragging about high school?  Were you all anything or because they let you on the field you're such a badass.  Wouldn't surprise me if you're a cop these days.
