The Jayhawks are 4-0 with "impressive" wins over Central Michigan, Southeast Louisiana, Toledo and Florida International. How unimpressive have the Hawks been? Those teams have a combined record of 4-15.

QB Todd Reesing has completed 58% of his passes so far in 2007 for 1,199 yards with 11 touchdowns and 1 interception. He threw for 368 yards against FIU and had 4 TD passes vs. Central Michigan and Toledo.

RB's Brandon McAnderson and Jake Sharp have rushed for 634 yards (6.7 yards/carry) and 9 touchdowns already. McAnderson had 110 yards vs. Central Michigan and had two TD's in the games vs. Southeastern Louisiana, Toledo and Florida International. Sharp had 127 yards vs. Toledo and had TD's in the games vs. Central Michigan, Southeastern Louisiana and Florida International.

McAnderson and Sharp will run behind an offensive line that has one senior and four junior starters. It's an offensive line that has already allowed Reesing to be sacked 5 times.

WR Marcus Henry and TE Derek Fine are Reesing's go to guys. Henry has 393 yards on 21 catches (18.7 yards/catch) with two touchdowns. His biggest game came against Toledo where he had 133 yards on 7 catches (19 yards/catch) and a touchdown. He also had a touchdown against Central Michigan. Fine has 160 yards on 16 catches (10 yards/catch) with two touchdowns. His biggest game came against Florida International where he had 70 yards on 7 catches (10 yards/catch) and a touchdown. He also had a touchdown against Central Michigan.

The defense is lead by CB Aqib Talib. He lead the nation in passes defended last season and tied for the Big XII lead with 6 INT's. He has also been in on offense catching 6 passes for 169 yards (28.2 yards/catch) with 3 of the QB's, Reesing and Kerry Meier, 13 touchdown passes. Overall it's a defense that allows 124 yards/game passing and 95 yards/game rushing for a combined 219 yards/game so far this season.

*If you haven't given me any credit before you have to give me loads of credit for at least trying to make ku's numbers sound impressive

Probably not. You never once referred to them as our non-rival. Plus... why would we give you credit for making ku sound impressive? This isn't supposed to be a fair and balanced K-State website. This isn't Foxnews.
