First off, kudos to KSU. Ron Prince outcoached Mack Brown, again. As noted on another thread, quite a few of the Longhorn faithful are not happy, and plenty are starting to wonder if "it was all Vince." I don't think it was totally all Vince...but his attitude sure infused the entire team (much as he is doing in the NFL). There are glaring holes in Mack Brown's stubbornness that infuses/infects I think plenty with it.
Don't get me wrong, I think Mack is a class act. But holding on to Greg Davis who in turn holds on to the same offense Vince Young ran but yet we run now without a Vince Young is unbelievable. Plenty of Texas fans have questioned this all year, and yet we still do it. And our defense has been a problem for two years now, which is disturbing when you consider that last year's secondary is starting in the NFL. So if you have NFL talent that plays well in the NFL, but not in college, what does that say? I think it says its going to be a long, long year for Texas fans.
But I digress. To KSU--you have a nice team, and I hope you win the damn north. You already know what your WR's and your QB is like, so I don't have to tell you. You were very well coached in all aspects of the game. As mentioned before, I hope everyone who came to Austin had fun, despite the bad weather. Hope you visited the warehouse district, maybe got some time in at Barton Springs when it was sunny, e.t.c.
And nice hire on Prince. I would have said the verdict was out prior to yesterday. I won't anymore.
