Are you the guy who always finds a negative in something no matter how wonderful it is?  Cause you seem like that guy.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

not really.  sometimes i can be.  i was just curious about our receivers b/c it seems pretty clear that freeman and jordy have something great going.  i was just wondering if anyone had any idea if freeman has anybody for next year that he can get that kind of a relationship with.

Well, Deon, for one. And then I'm guessing that Ernie Pierce will step up as well.

Well Deon and Pierce will be back....so that'll help. They'll be a year better and that's gonna be scary for everyone else in the Big XII. Lamark is gonna step up next year. He is a competitor. He wants to play. We have to remember he's a great athlete and this is his first year at the position. While we won't have a receiver with 10+ catches every game, we'll have a great receiving core.

i wont believe that until one of the other receivers steps up in a game that isnt equivalent to a ku non-conference opponent.

Sorry, swish1.  Great question.  It's just that you caught me in the middle of my victory dance and kinda bummed me out.  Jordy will obviously be a huge and irreplaceable (next year, anyway) loss.  Let's just hope that the development of Freeman and (hopefully) Patton will compensate.

Ya dude, that's a pretty weak perspective.  Why don't you go get a couple of beers and watch Sports Center over and over until you figure things out.  Enjoy the now...
