So, anyway, I was watching this game at the local mega-sports-bar, with 6 massive screens and about 75 TVs.  I'm surrounded by hundreds of FSU fans watching their snoozer with Alabama, who were oddly enthusiastic about CU taking down Oklahoma.  During halftime, I wind up next to a guy in a Longhorn hat in the bathroom.  I chuckle to myself, and he notices my #1 jersey.

Nobody hates me. Everyone hates you. I don't actually like OU but I have no extreme amount of aggression for them either. I would much rather beat UT and TAMU from the South than I would OU. UT because they're our rival and TAMU because of '98.

i never root for ku or ou.  most non-online nu fans are actually pretty decent people and are nothing like the internet fans.  while they are still slightly cocky they will concede certain things.  ou fans however are as cocky as it gets, thus i really, really hate them.

I root NU to beat ku whenever that occurs. ku fans talk sh*t after they beat NU. NU fans don't after they beat ku.

To be fair that only happens once every 40 years or so.
My young nephew -- who lives in Lawrence and I fear will turn into a hoks fan, sat on my lap during the ku/UCLA final eight last spring.
He was disappointed I wasn't rooting the sqwawkers. He asked if I'd yell for them if they played Russia (he's no a second grader).
I told if ku played al Qaeda, I might yell but probably not.
