I finally got it up, stupid stage6 wouldn't accept my original avi file so I had to use their converter so it lost some quality. It's still not bad though. Enjoy!

I know man, Stage6 just sucks though, I ripped it from the DVD in avi format and for some reason stage6 wouldn't accept it. I'll work on it though and maybe I'll just give a download link to it in good quality.

Good News! just found a file server that hosts files up to 500mb, I'll rip the DVD to wmv format and upload it to there.

Do you mean VOB? I could do that but it would be around 2 gigs so I coldn't put it on a file server. The WMV is in good quality and everyone can play a wmv file.

Also, isn't the point of the Stage6 site to promote the divx codec and it's good video quality.  I know little about video codecs and encoding but I think you can incode straight to divx via some software from their site.  Could be hallucinating all of this though fwiw.

haha yeah man that's what I did. I used their converter and any time you convert files it loses quality. Stage6 will take divx and avi formats. I ripped the DVD to avi format but stage6 would't accept it. Stage6 is weird it's not the first time it's happened. I'd say half the avi and divx files I try and upload don't work. Oh well it'll be better anyways when I'm done uplaoding to megaupload and you can have it in good quality and have it on your hd.

FWIW... I'll take it any way it comes and figure out a way to convert it. Better quality is the main thing :-)

No; an .ISO; A VOB would only include the chapter identifications.  An ISO is an Image of the entire disk which would include everything the original disk included...   home screens; special features; menu's; everything.  It would be just as large as a VOB, but you would essentially be sharing the entire content of the DVD.  No ripping or reduction in video quality.  We would prob have to burn it to a dual layer disk however.
