this is why i never talked much sh1t when ku went on probation (still current)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I don't think this has much to do with the NCAA, though they may be involved.

This is one of the first things you look for when an inexperienced coaching staff gets their first big opportunity.  I just expected it to be Frank Martin instead of Ron Prince.

i haven't heard anything.

also, he hasn't played a down this year, so if he did do something something wrong I don't see what the big deal is right now.

Hey BMW . . . when Roy Williams told those boosters it was okay to send players gifts and "paychecks" (ku boosters words not mine), could we chalk that up to inexperience??

This is really pretty simple if you try to put things together.  If this tutor rumor is true, I'm sure they met with the NCAA and whoever they needed to with KSU and worked something out, probably that the class will be thrown out and another class taken.  As a result, Moore was declared inelgible and had to retake the class.  If you further put two and two together and Roland's comments and other rumors from players that Josh will play this week, he likely was able to take the same class as an 8 week class and if he passes, he'll be elgible again.  Its possible the players jumped the gun, and he won't be good to go until he receives the grade, which may mean he won't be available until ku or later.  If this is true (I'm just speculating), KSU took care of the problem in house, got the involved player off the field, and worked things out with KSU and the NCAA to get things rectified.  Its really not that hard to see if you think about it, and in reality this is a pretty good way to handle it IF what is being rumored is the case.  The only other option is to boot Moore, and with a first offense that seems pretty unreasonable.  Just ask John Randle.

If we were to hear anything it would be that the University has launched its own investigation. Thats the current trend (if you want to call it that) in this little song and dance done by the NCAA and Universities. Florida State launched an investigation for 6 months before submitting anything to the NCAA. Minnesota escaped harsh sanctions because they had a relentless response internally. Even ku did it - although they managed to still look imcompetent.

What possibly could be bad about a 10:00 pm Thursday night mandatory team meeting?  I am sure Scary Smart just found the key to beating this week's opponent (Texas for those not Ron Prince).  I am sure everything is fine at the Vanier complex. :hope:

I feel like Bill Walker right about now.... :billypopcorn:

I overheard this after I "jogged by" the complex

Prince screaming at Josh Moore

"I don't need to cheat, that's not how I operate. I have enough faith in my coaching ability."

I understand from my brother who had to stop by his office which is just down the street from Vanier, that several ambulances, a large "prison type" bus (his words not mine), a whole line of black suburbans, and a bunch of guys in suits and mirrored sun glasses were swarming all over the place.

This is the end . . .  :'(  :'(  :'(
