OSU's attendance against Texas Tech.   I know they're expanding their stadium because frankly . . . they can with all that T. Boone Money.

But OSU has never packed the place, and now they're going to have close to 60,000 seats for the 2008 season.

Must be nice to be able to build empty seats.

For some reason I rmemeber readin/hearing somewhere that there are actually less seats while they're doing the construction.. Thay may be capacity for the time being. Official capacity before construction was 44,700, and they've removed the west endzone seating to close in the bowl.

Agreed.  No matter how much $$$ Boone pours into that thing, OSU football will always be a distant third when it comes to sports in that state.  They would have been better off dropping about 10,000 seats and putting the money into either a couple more luxury suites (although IIRC there are going to be plenty, anyway), or probably just putting the money into the athletes' facilities.  You can always add something even nicer to the locker or training rooms that'll help impress the recruits.

They are charging $85 a game.  That probably has alot to do with it.  I imagine they thought since their supply was decreasing this year they would screw those buying single game tickets.
