You would think ku would let up atleast once to one of these teams. But no. Which is the whole point. ku has shown teeth by pounding the hell out of four teams.

I mean seriously, wtf?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's good to be good again!
Texas fans know that KSU is one of only 2 teams in the Big 12 with winning records against them.  They have been talking about this game down here for quite awhile...they are worried and they want revenge.  It is not a par with the OU game but trust me they care much more about how they do against the Cats than against the "cartoon birds" (actual quote from UT fan).

Wrong.  KSU has a winning record against 2 teams in the Big 12.  Iowa State and Baylor.

KSU has 4 wins and 5 losses against Texas.
KSU has 35 wins, 55 losses and 5 ties against ku.

KSU fans...lol

Big 12 play moron.

If you want to see a real rivalry, look at ku and Texas basketball.  Those games last season were incredible, and both had Big 12 Championships on the line.  K-State's win over Texas last season was an upset win over the worst Texas team in the last five years.

BTW, did anyone see where Auburn was ranked?

Not that this is a basketball forum, but I'll bite. Both games were incredible, if you like crappy defense and street ball. As for the 45-42 win (KSU now 3-2 against TX in the league history) at the time of the game UT had only 1 loss and was in the mix for another shot at the National Title. The 2004 UT team that almost lost to ku was obviously the worst Shorthorn team in the last 5

Hasn't ku's pass rush been their weakness on defense? If so... explain this:

The Ranking Should Be Higher Because … it’s fourth in the nation in total offense, fourth in total defense, and five in scoring defense. The return game is among the best in America, the pass rush has been phenomenal, and all the parts are working offensively.

Basically... don't put much stock into that ranking.

    Overkill. It works.

33rd in AP, 30 in USA Today. An easy win over the Wildcats and top 25 here we come!

With essentially 3 weeks to prepare for us, even Mangino should be able to come up with a game plan for us.  That should be good enough for you to at least have a marginal lead at halftime...

I for one am ashamed of myself and so should all of you!!!

BTW, did anyone see where Auburn was ranked?

Yeah, they were ranked 13th and 17th when KSU played them. And for all eternity, KSU lost to the #13/17 ranked Auburn Tigers at thier house in 2007.

Reminds me of the last time ku was ranked in football (top 10 I believe) and came to manhattan and got absolutely raped.  Deja vu?

Good point, they were no. 6 at that point and that was HUGE! Hilarious, but still HUGE!

This same thing has been happening in some form for over a decade.  ku beats some little retard 1AA teams in the non-con, thinks they have a shot at the North, realizes after one or two concerence games that they actually aren't very good, migration begins to the basketball board, football teams ends up 3-5 in Big XII play.  This is not a new phenomenon.

I believe that is the first time I've ever heard the "overrated" chant at a KSU ku game.

I wasn't even in KS at the time... but it would have been great to be a KSU fan then. Was there as much hype as when we monkey-stomped OU for the Big 12 Ch? That was one of the greatest days of my life.

How many votes will we get for beating our rival?

 :hornsdown

umm news flash, Texas isnt your rival. I know you guys really want it but theres this 100 year thing going on between OU and UT. KSU Wildcats is irrelevant to Texas fans

Tell them that.

I still want my cooler, bitches!
