Wyatt is average/below average as far as Big XII North play by play guys go.  ku, MU, ISU, KSU are all bad.  Our color guy is better, IMO. Can't speak for CU's radio guys.  Rosie is delusional, childish and arrogant.  He is a huge fan, so huskers should like that.  I would like that in our play by play guy, too.  Swain was better in my opinion.

SteveDave- They actually have Rose as the cohost of KFAB's morning show on 1110AM. It's even more terrible that hearing him call games, if you can believe that. Regardless of who the guest is, he'll challenge them and act like he's the expert on the subject. They could have a guy who maintains the equipment on a nuclear sub and he'd challenge the guy on whether the method he uses is the most effective. Just a braying assclown, and the worst announcer ever. Most Husker fans can't stand the guy. You have to give him some credit though...he managed to be worse than Kent Pavelka, the previous announcer, who I thought was unsurpassable in terms of suckiness.

You might be able to get KFAB in Kansas, they have a very strong signal. Give the morning show a try, it's almost amusing it's so bad.

I agree, that most Corn fans do not like the guy.

It's pretty sad that a program like NU has that guy, but I have noticed that many of the tradition rich programs have huge homers and not very good announcers as their play by play guys.

K-State has been blessed to have very competent guys like Steve Physioc (sp??), Mitch Holthus, Greg Sharpe . . . and while he's a big step down from those guys Wyatt Thompson, who is still better than many college PbyP guys.

If by better you mean worse then I agree 100%.  Luckily he is a step up from Rosey.  Greg Sharpe was my favorite.  Mitch was until he spoke at my highschool graduation (poor job).
