    The very best.
good. would have liked to see the 04 mizzou run.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I wonder how many times you have to watch the spin move against the spin move against the 3 trojans in the backfield before it starts to get old.

I think his big yards came more easily because of the large crest that used to be in the middle of the field. Or at least that's what I remember being told.

Great work WWB.  I have two thoughts after watching this:

1.  Oh how I miss a KState football team that can run the option.

2.  The step in, spin out move against the 3 trojans is one of the best moves I've ever seen in college football.

I would've liked to seen the spin move he made when catching the punt....against UT?

The crest has been gone for awhile since we went to field turf.  I think it more had to do with Sproles talent and the offense we ran.  With the QB run game teams had to bring up safety's near the line of scrimmage to stop it and off set the extra blocker.  This made it much easier to get big plays.

People keep saying they  want to see us throw down field more but with the offense we run teams are going to keep two safety's back most of the time.  That is the main reason we have not hit big plays this year.  We won't hit a lot of big plays until we really get the run game going and force people to bring up safety's.

False, the crest accounted for 80% of Darren Sprole's yards.

QFT!   And the other 20% was the intimidation factor that changing to the #43 brought.  Because it made him look bigger you know.

Winbush would have had more yards with that crest and #43. At least that was the rumor.

Good times.

Actually it is rumored that Snyder paid the Chiefs ground crew "under the table" to install a large crest the morning of that game.

He also paid for the more intimidating large numbers. You know, to make DS seem bigger, thus scaring off potential tacklers.
