    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I can't stop thinking about it.

 :jail:

I'm more anxious for this game to be here than I was vs. Auburn.  Rivalry games make me feel warm inside.

I think we lose, just because it's a golden opportunity, not because we can't win.

    The "other" KSU
Based on what we've seen out of Tejas - I can see a good opportunity to get a win. They haven't shown us much. If Prince outcoaches Mack the knife (again) that would RULE! I have a coworker who is a DIE HARD UT fan... it almost broke my heart rubbing that loss in last year. (almost)

I am not necessarily expecting to go down there and win, but they are definetely beatable.  Shouldn't be a blowout.

correct way of putting the question:

how many of ya'll reckon we beat texas?

i think we will. and that may surprise some.

I'd really like our chances if the game was in Manhattan.

Their linebackers have not at all been disciiplined in their assignments and are all kinds of susceptible to Bold and Daringness.

Their OL has been pretty leaky, and I think we can put a lot of pressure on McCoy, who has flat out not been as good as he was a year ago.

Plus, there is already a bunch of OU talk down here, so hopefully there will be a little bit of look ahead going on.

Bottom line, we're better than we were a year ago, and they're not as good.

Horns down?  That is an OU thing, by the way.  Be classier than that.  Er, oops. Anyway, Fatty is certainly obsessed--he finally showed up in the WZ to get picked on again and disappear, as per usual.

You certainly have a better chance this year than we thought you did last year, ironically enough.  Hard to put the finger on why Texas is not improving, but so far we can point at Greg Davis for running an East/West passing game that is all kinds of wrong.  Starting Jamaal Charles 10 yards behind the LOS and asking him to make his own holes to run through might eventually not work.  Asking your offensive line to zone block/pass block and then being surprised when they can't succeed in short yardage situations is also not a great move.

Then there is the defense, which is somehow even more susceptible to blowing pass coverages than it was last year, and has linebackers who just don't know what the hell they're doing.  Oh, and if they pin you deep, there is a chance that they will commit an atrocious penalty to get your right back to where you need to be.

Oh, and Colt still hasn't looked like he did last year prior to the injury (thanks).

So the answer is yes, you have a good shot at it.  All of that noted, I have no idea how strong/weak you guys are this year.  Hanging with Auburn is not looking that glorious anymore, given Auburn's lack of performance.

Have fun if you come on down.

HA! You want to see penalties?  You have come to the right place.  We're #1 in the nation there.  Don't come in here, talking  penalties, cause we'll give you a Texas-sized smack down when it comes to penalties!

Too early.  Texas still has to overcome mighty Rice in the meantime.

They won't release it until after Texas plays Rice.  Usually sunday late afternoon/early evening is when the initial lines are set.

The fact that Texas is playing Rice before hand, gives the Horns an advantage because it means that Texas has a chance to build their egos eating cupcakes.

On the flip side, no one expect Scary Smart to give Mack The Champ a knockout blow.

I think Ron Prince has Texas figured out.   Mack is not happy with his program which means it's a setup game.  Having two weeks to prepare for Texas may not help us, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

I think Texas wins, but KSU keeps it close.

If we don't, we will be missing a bigger chance to knock off a "name" than we missed at Auburn.  I just hope UT wins this weekend so we can knock off them with an inflated ranking.
