I would diss Carl Peterson too.

Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards said he doesn't like rap music and had no plans to listen to the song.

Is Herm Edwards 70?  This is great.  I might have to become a Chiefs fan again.

Edwards said Johnson has spoken to the Chiefs' front office but declined to elaborate on the conversation. As of Friday afternoon, neither Peterson nor Edwards had listened to the rap. And apparently, they had no plans to.

Edwards sounded incredulous when asked if the controversy would affect Johnson's playing status Sunday against the Bears.

"Here's the concern -- in our society now, so many things come up on Web sites and Internet," Edwards said. "First of all, I don't even have the Internet. I wouldn't even know how to use it. There are a lot of things that happen that people are subject to, and you never know where it comes from. For me to sit here and try to be Inspector Clouseau and figure out who did it. ... I can't do that. I've got to beat Chicago. I can't worry about stuff like this.

This will all disappear when LJ goes for 155 and two TD's.  It won't be against the Bears, so it may linger for 12 days.  Sometimes I'm not sure what people want.  Jared Allen is a redneck with 4 DUI's and still has a radio show... while suspended.  That's a lot worse than anything LJ did.
