I have heard that Walker may be exploring a pro career sooner than you think. Sources tell me he is looking to go to Italy :crybaby:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I would wish him all the best in Italy.  I only hope he is able to sign on with a team that will get him his paycheck on time.  Hope he considers that before he makes the big leap.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.  Kid positioning himself for the NBA draft decides to forgoe 13 nationally televised appearances for an opportunity to wow em in Italy.  And what a better barometer to let scouts know your truly healthy than playing a bunch of folks that presently don't have the game to be in the NBA.  Maybe if he really kicked butt, he might get a ticket to try out for some team.  And won't his mom be so pleased to move from Topeka to Italy.  Bet she's ordering those learn to speak Italian dvd's right now.  Would assume that he already has a passport, but if not, the season and the draft will be over before he gets one.

This is too phucking phunny.   :loly:

It wasn't that long ago that KSU nation was crying in their Natural Light cans after Huggins bolted Manhattan.  Then, Beasley was trying to get out of his commitment.  Now Walker has bolted.

Jeez

At least Dokish got a rise out of everyone up to the point when he was posting that Beasley was not going to make the trip to the little apple, just when he was being announced at the Bram.  He made the Iraqi official speaker look silly.

You sir, suck as an instigator.

You want to cause a panic?  Try going to the Phog and announcing a gerbil shortage!

This is obviously crap, but I have heard from someone who regularly talks to Walkers mom, (a huge ksu fan that pretty much stalks her in my opinion) that he is not happy with the way the coaching staff is handling things. Beasley is running the show and Billy doesn't like it. He has even talked to the AD and President of the school about it.

Thats not good news for team chemistry. Hopefully they get this figured out before the season starts.

Mr. Lemons is the third full-length album by singer/songwriter Glen Phillips. Released in May of 2006, it features a cover of the Huey Lewis & the News hit "I Want a New Drug."

To promote the album, the first 1700 pre-orders from the Aware Records online store were autographed by Phillips. (2000 autographed pre-orders were originally promised) Artwork for the album was done by Glen's wife, Laurel Phillips.

Yeah, good old Baghdad Bob:

"They're not even [within] 100 miles [of Baghdad]. They are not in any place. They hold no place in Iraq. This is an illusion ... they are trying to sell to the others an illusion."

Yes, i can see the similarity to Lowrents Lemons:

"This just in, Walker quits the team....Looking to go to Italy to play pro ball."

You're absolutely correct.  Bill cannot stand to be overshadowed by another player off the court.  Except for one small detail. Bill grew up as the lesser known of two players to OJ Mayo.  Seems rather than having problems on the court, Bill flourished.  Maybe Bill deserves a little more credit than what you give him.  He's on a journey to fufill a dream.  Since neither play the same position, they do not take minutes away from each other.  Playing with Mike actually will enhance his opportunities on the court.  If teams have to double team Mike, Bill gets better shots.  If teams have to focus on Bill, scouts will see that as evidence that like when he played with OJ, if you don't give him enough attention, he will take over the game.

I think Bill, Clent, and David Hoskins will be the leaders of this team on the floor.  Mike will amaze with his talent, but has yet to demonstrate his leadership abilities.  Mike will also make a lot of mistakes due to his lack of experience at this level.  Dave will take a much smaller role, but will be very successful because he won't be asked to do too much.  Dave is only going to do the things he's already proven to be good at.  Clent will be expected to the quarterback, his responsibility will be to get the offense into the correct play.  His attempts will be very low, but he should be able to set personal records in assists.  Bill, on the other hand will be able to continue with the expanded role he was given at the time of his injury.  If Bill can consistently shoot from the outside, he's a lottery pick for next year.  If not, he can still get his low post opportunities against other teams small forwards.  Probably will hurt his chances for the first round, but gets him drafted in the second round and guaranteed money.

Seriously, how can you call BWalk one of "Huggs Thugs"? Have you ever listened to him speak? Ever really read anything about the guy? From all I have heard, here in Cincy, and from folks in Kansas, the guy is well mannered and respectful.....

This may be the stupidest thread yet.....
