Good news
Talked to someone close to the program yesterday and he said that he believes Arthur has narrowed his schools down to 3. The 3 are K-State, USC, and OU. He is a good friend of Franklin and said the only reason people don't mention KSU is because they get all thier info from Butler. He said that Franklin is now very close to The Brown Bros parents and basically doesn't hardly talk to Butler and communicates more w/ the parents. He also said that Bryce really really likes K-State and he thinks he will go, especially if Arthur goes.  :)

I'm not making this up and the source is very reliable.

stupid post...that scout is clueless as far as favorites and they just copied that off a scout.com profile update a few months back when a tard admin from Ole Miss bumped a few schools like KSU and added Mississippi.

Ole Miss, Michigan, and FSU are on your little silly vid...according to Butler's own site none of those three are in his final 16 so...in conclusion...this thread is a non-factor.

    Fear the Brick
I could see why Bryce would want to come to KSU instead of OU...we run the ball all day long, all OU does is throw short passing routes.

he'd also have to wait in line before playing. At K-State he plays right away.

I don't usually pay attention to recruiting stuff except for in February so I've read about these guys but haven't given it much thought. But to hear how much these guys are wanted and to hear Bryce compared to Reggie Bush in tonight's Manhattan Mercury.....Well that gets my attention.

Hopefully the fact that OU has a pretty good group of running backs has something to do with it.  Although Bryce would likely start over all of them.

Yeah, with a complete lack of talent on the roster, that's the one thing you have to offer. They can come to Kansas State and play with a bunch of 2 star talents for a wack-job coach for a third rate program that will struggle to get to .500 each year. Sounds like an amazing deal to me.

idk... at best I think he would share time w/ Demarco Murry during his freshman year. and yeah I think playing right away obviously has a large part in his decision. Maybe he's a K-State fan too, idk, wasn't there a guy that came on the boards awhile back saying he knew the Brown Bros and he was saying that Bryce is a life-long KSU fan. Maybe I'm wrong.

They can come to Kansas State Nebraska and play with a bunch of 2 5 star Talent overrated hacks for a wack-job coach for a third rate program that will struggle to get to .500 each year. Sounds like an amazing deal to me.

Do you really have to be mean like that?  Here we are, happy that we might actually have a shot at the Brown Bros and you come marching in, swinging your cock around, making us all feel horrible.  I suggest you not be such a jerk next time.

I should call Bryce and talk to him about the benefits of coming to K-State.

1. Playing for a black coach.
2. Being praised by all the K-State fans that will treat him as a God.
3. Immediately getting the starting job at RB.
4. Being close to home.

5. representing his own state rather than Oklahoma or California.  Forget talking up the state's prep players...don't leave the state.  We can have a great team here.

That should be reason #1A & B -

If A. Brown wants to rep the state of KS, there's no better  way then by playing for the best football school in the state -- KSU.

If he goes to OU, USC, or Florida etc., he'll be just another stud who gets lumped in with all the talent that plays at those schools -  where is Kevin Durant from? Texas - right? No. Back east somewhere...I couldn't even tell you b/c all I can think of when I see Kevin Durant is
him in a Longhorn Uni dumping coin on helpless Big 12 defenders.  Same thing with Adrian Petersen...I know he's from Texas...but dammit - -when I see him all I see is him running roughshod in a sooner Uni. He's done NOTHING to "rep" the state of Texas.

At KSU A. Brown will be the LOCAL stud who  stayed in state and brought a national championship to KS. THink that's crazy? Guys like C. Harper, J. Freeman, B. Brown, L. Brown etc. There'll be talent all over the field -- AND IT'S ALL LOCAL.

I can see the SI cover right now with Arthur and Bryce posing with the MNC trophy - --

only reason snyder would be out of the running is because he wouldn't pay for a player.  prince doesn't have that ethical problem
