Did anybody else hear that B.J. Sams is out for the year for the Ravens? Does that mean that Yamon Figurs is their full time return man now?

I just looked it up and Sams is not listed on the Injury Report.

no ed reed came in for him during the game and took a punt to the house and their backup running back fielded the kickoffs.

I can't imagine the Ravens wanting Ed Reed to continue to be out there on punt returns.

sams is out of the year with a torn ACL.

Figurs will probably be doing KO returns and he may do punt returns too.   I can see Ed Reed doing some punt returning, but not sure if he will be back there full time

Ray Lewis is dinged as well, and Baltimore can't afford for something to happen to Reed and Lewis.

The reason Figurs didnt go in the game 2 replace Sams was because he was not active for the game.
