I didn't realize that K-State's coaching staff had a monopoly on identifying talent.  I thought all coaching staffs did that.  Guess I was wrong.

Have at it.  Regardless, K-State has elevated its recruiting since Huggins took over.  There's no shame in recruiting Wesley Witherspoon and Mario Little.  Those are good players with high-major talent.  It's just that K-State fans hadn't been able to say they had a chance with these type of recruits until recently.

It would be nice if NCAA coaches had unlimited time to work with players so they could take someone who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and turn them into pure shooters.

HS coaches as well in most states, and they're further hampered by AAU coaches who may not be teaching the same thing or using the same methods during the off season.

HS coaches suck, BTW.  Using different methods in the offseason is probably a good thing for most players.

ku has no shot at greg monroe.  warren is a crapshoot.  morgan is ku's only real remaining shot at a (semi) elite recruit.
