I for one think the video is great!!!  Why cant you all just support our University and stop giving ammunition to the guys down the road?  What we should do is wave our darling towels with all of our might.   I say we do it to support our coach and the administration that has been so good to us.

See this is what I'm talking about.  You act like fans.  I believe that you all take losses just as hard as I or anybody else.  But instead of supporting your school and standing proud with your Power Towel, all you can do is ridicule something that the admin, coach, and players think might help the team at the stadium. 

If Josh Freeman took time out of his busy schedule to help them make the video, he obviously supports it.  So I will stand with Josh and Coach Prince!! I have my power towel, have practiced the cheer  and stand ready to scream as loud as I possibly can when the time comes.

And thats another thing.  Why are we referring to him as 80's Willie in it?   The only reason it was changed is because a bunch of ku guys were making fun of us.  I thought the video was cool.  There was no need to try and cover up the origins, or try to say we were doing this "tongue and cheek". 

We need to cheer for our guys.  Not worry about what everyone else thinks.  It will be settled on the field in a few weeks and I think that if we all show our support, the guys will try harder than ever to avoid a repeat of last year.

The phrase is actually "tongue in cheek." The video is idiotic. Even the purple Koolaid drinkers here realize that. It's lame and embarrassing.
