There are those of you who want to make a "Cat Lab" out of the Willie Guitar video (exlcuding towel-action, which I do not find offensive), and that would be a travesty.   

Cat Lab is brilliant, the Willie Guitar video was clearly made by my home-schooled cousin.

Don't let this thing turn into a reverse-jump-the-shark.  It is a piece of trash.

I get the whole "let's embrace it so it won't hurt when they mock us thing."  I get it, I really do.  That was Poco May for me.  That was Ell getting his dick wet the night before the Fiesta bowl.  That's Katpak.  I get that.

FWIW, I hate this video and don't think it is Catlab-ish at all.  I find Catlab entertaining; this embarrassing.  I sent an email to Weiser 5 minutes after watching the video yesterday voicing my complete embarrassment with the video and pleaded with him to not have it played in the stadium.   

I love all that is KSU and I defend it every day that I go to work; I do however hate this video and will not defend it. Maybe I just don't get it, but it's not entertaining, funny, nor does it pump me up for a game.  I fear that the awkward/quiet/nervous laughter after it's played in the stadium will do nothing but ruin all momentum developed by the team do the complete opposite of what it's intended for, pump up the crowd and the team.  May god have mercy on anyone's soul that wants this video played in the stadium.

Amen.  As if our pregame skits are "cool"...I say double or even triple the goofy stuff.  It's kind of like Oregon..ya know?  They wear space uniforms and have incredibly strange looking roboduck mascots and then have duck sounds played over PA.  And then they get in refs heads to F up OU.  Something like that.  I want Boise blue turf, I want roboduck, I want Willie skits and videos...the weirder the better.

I guess that's why I kind of think the video is dumb/lame/non-entertaining...because it's a half-assed, "corporate" attempt to be goofy.  It's not catlab enough.  Put freaking Weird Robert, Prince, or even Josh Freeman ( ) playing the guitar.  Using just Willie, imo, makes it lame.
