It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Gridiron Bash will broaden the fan experience to include a live concert, interactive fan area, giant pep rally, chalk talks/autograph sessions with school football legends, a truncated practice, and a $1.75 million scholarship award contest.

Chalk as in chalk board.  Talking plays, schemes etc.

Anyway, sounds like this could be pretty cool.  I'm sure it'll add another dollar to your cell bill to text in but that's still a damn cheap experience to see your boys in the spring.  And the prize for the school,   Hopefully it will be promoted properly and our fanbase will show their support.
