"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

"The coach of his Houston Select AAU team, David Salinas, is good friends with first-year ISU coach Tim Jankovich, who has coached and heavily recruited in Texas."

Wooldridge recruited both Jones and Oguchi from that Houston select team. Chris Salinas' dad ran the team and was the funding. He and Wooldridge were very close. Wooldridge hired his son to help solidify the relationship because there were many players in the pipeline with Houston Select. Very good recruiting inroads were being made with that organization and Weiser blew it up. He turned in Wooldridge and his staff in to the NCAA and forced Chris Salinas to leave. There was a very good chance of getting Jones, lesser of a chance with Oguchi. Jones and Cartier were very good friends. Both were recruited by KSU.

What the hell?

Why would Weiser do that?
