For a LB playing WR, Brown isn't that bad.

It'll be nice once LaMark gets past the learning curve.

qft. LMAO @ Mangino begging Lamark to come 2 ku.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Briscoe had better offers out of high school... see for yourself.

Briscoe's first catch for ku was a TD.  Lamark Brown is still watching footballs bounce off of his facemask.

are you really still trying to sell that?

Lamark stopped listening...programs like Tennessee kept trying.  Briscoe was bait for the kid who went to OSU.

keep trying.

those uni's still look a little like the giants. the rumor i have heard is that they want to give the football players a chance to look like an nfl player because none of them will ever sniff an nfl roster

I guess that is why K-State wears purple Dallas Cowboy uniforms.

what excuses?  Tennessee was one of the bigs that kept trying...but his recruitment was over early.  What part of that do you not get?

Briscoe's best offers were pobably Mizzou and Iowa...two monumental powers.  And one might doubt just how many of those offers were truly offers or beak admins checking boxes.

again, keep trying.

Keep trying?

One guy caught a TD pass on his first college reception.

The other is bouncing footballs off of his facemask.

Game. Set. Match.

Got that one fixed, I'll send you the bill.  You're still 4269 1/2 Argayle Way, aren't you?

Jermaine Moreira > Adarious Bowman

as true freshman in '03...Bowman 10 catches for 180...Moreira 17 catches for 280

it's settled.  If Briscoe has a few more grabs than Lamark this year...Briscoe automatically better career, player, everything.

Briscoe had better offers than Brown?

What?

You should hear Avery (he played hs football in STL...actually with Gabbert) gush about him.

Whenever I talk football with him he keeps saying stuff like "OMG when he was a freshman, he was like 6'3'' 210, ripped, and our jaws just dropped when we saw him run at a track meet, we couldn't believe he was that young", or "Whenever we had to watch video, we could not take our eyes off of him", or "You should see his arms, they're freaking gigantic", or "Hazelwood is a ghetto school, they have metal detectors and crap".

Seriously, LaMark Brown has work to do, but he will be a beast once he gets adjusted to playing wide out.  Give him a chance.  Hell you guys have a linebacker playing o-line.

Briscoe is a good receiver, but his potential is more limited (4.7 LOL)

Briscoe is the next #3 at ku after Aqib Talib leaves.  He's going to be a star WR someday.

Lamark Brown is still trying to find a position.

It's nice to know that we have enough depth and experience at WR that our freshman studs don't HAVE to contribute early.  And I thought Taleeeeeeeb was a DB?  If Briscoe is that good, Shouldn't Aqueeeeeb be on D?

After you get past Jordy Nelson and Deon Murphy there's nothing good enough to keep Lamark Brown off the field (if he's as good as you guys think he is).

Aqib Talib, on the other hand, is too good to keep off of the field.  No one throws his direction anymore so why not get some use out of him on offense?

Talib's gonna get pummeled during Big XII play.  It's tough to contribute from the hospital.

Briscoe really isn't very good, but he has much more game experience than Lamark at this point.  If Briscoe could catch this game wouldn't have been as close as it was.  That being said, Lamark will need to step up next year after Jordy leaves or our offense will continue to be terrible.

Briscoe is better right now than a guy learning to play receiver.

I would wager that Brown ends up better, he seems to be gaining more and more experience.

Just because Lamark can't catch or run routes doesn't mean that he isn't a good wide receiver.

Who was the ku receiver who dropped the wide open over the shoulder catch because he had his left hand turned the wrong direction?
