What do you think about this weeks game? With all the pats on the back about the good performance at Auburn do you think our players will get big heads at all? Even though we lost, there seems to be alot of congratulations out there for us.  This weeks game game could be one of the classic Snyder era beatdowns if our players come out with the right attitude.

    I'm with Coco.
I hope Prince is pissed off enough and the players want to win enough. The players should not be satisfied with that game. We need to learn how to win, again.

    The "other" KSU
I cant see it happening (the letdown). I think our guys know why we "lost" that game. I think we lick our wounds in the next couple of weeks and show up at Austin. I believe that UT's defense is good, but AU's defense is better. I am worried about UT's offense, but if we look as fresh at the end of the UT game on defense as we looked throughout the AU game, we should come out with a close win. Hopefully Rashad is there to take some pressure off of Jordy in the recieving game. We'll see though. I think that we should try to spread UT's defense out with some passes and let JJ and Leon take the running game to them. But I am just an armchair coach in Huntington, WV.

BTW does anyone know where I can get the webcast for KSU games that aren't televised? I will slit my wrists if I have to go through espn.com and their play by play thing. (I wont really slit my wrists)

    Damn, I'm sexy
How do you get big heads from a loss exactly? The fact that you're concerned about the players losing focus because they actually managed to keep the score close against a team with a high school offense is amusing.

IMO, this 'almost win' hurts us more than it helps us in the long run.

At least our coach tries to win at high profile venues.  As a NU fan, your coach having your team go out and lay-down against USC last year should embarrass you.  We take the field to win, and take pride in playing to win.  NU cements the fact that it is no longer a top tier program by playing dead.
