Did anyone else notice Wefald come on to the field and go say a word to some of the coaches and a couple players with about 8 or 9 minutes left in the game?  I thought that was a little premature.

From now on maybe Wefald should wait till the clock says zero before telling everyone what a great job they've done.

How do you know he was congratulating them? He could have been encouraging them to keep going..

Either way, that's not his place.  I love Wefald and appreciate what he's done for us football fans, but he needs to cheer from a box until the game is over and congratulate the players after the game.

Hey ditch the tude.   I just thought that when it happened it might serve as the proverbial scoreboard flashing the UCLA Miami score...

same result  :frown:  :crybaby:

But it's the Weefer, man. I would understand if you were bitching about Weiser doing it but it's just good ol' Jon.  :-[

I did hear some rumblings after the game that the loss could be directly attributed to talking to Wefald.

I thought it was kind of bad.  Wefald, Krause and Weiser all went down there patting backs before it was over.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
It's too bad it wasn't the Legend down there on the sidelines.
