He can practice just can't play.  They'll put him on the scout team because they want the reps with the regurlar defense to go to the guys that can actually play in the games.  Plus it gives us a talented athlete and pass rusher to give our offense a look each week.  My guess is he played the role of Q Groves on the scout team for Auburn preperation.
