If you disagree you have to give me a good reason. Some of my reasons sprout from some key points in the game.

The end when Groves dominated us.
The great open field tackle at the 2 yard line on Jordy Nelson.
Or how about after the receptions by Nelson, and Murphy when they ran all the way cross field looking to cut up, but seem to never have a chance b/c of the filling ability of the auburn defenders.

And I have been watching this team since the mid 90's they are better, than any Texas, Nebraska, or OU defenses.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Would you rank our defense up there with them then?? We were basically the same defense until the final five minutes when we got tired and they kept it coming.

They have a good D.

We needed to block off Q.Groves to test their secondary  deep down the field which we never did.

The 2003 Ohio State defense was faster.

Or 2003 Miami.  Whatever.  Turbo has clearly only seen the non-conference cupcakes that KSU has played all of these years.

I'm only comparing defenses that competed against us, just so you know. Our defense is fast but, we don't have a groves, or the depth. Remember this, our defense sucked last year, and Auburn has been amazing the last few years at D. Don't try to compare, give our defense some time.

Depth is the key to the Auburn d. Three starters mised the entire second half with injuries including the best LB and best DB and there really was no dropoff.

More brilliant analysis from Op.
