I think it was Antwon Moore. Funny, that's the same stiff arm Jordy got called for a 15 yard face mask.

Try SEC.

During the game I thought they were SEC, than I heard an AU fan after the game say ACC. Probably trying to cover up. Faggots.

It's not like those two plays weren't big. Think about it.

The Jordy call: would've gotten us well into field goal range, and holy crap was that an amazing catch and run. jordy

McKinney facemask: On the Auburn drive that put them in the lead. Pretty much free 15 yards. meh  :yuck:

I also noticed on that play the Auburn player jerked his head left and down to make it appear like a face mask.

The Jordy play would have been a first down instead of third and long.

I'm not really upset about the Mckinney facemask, that would have been a hard call to make with the way that auburn player flipped around.  Any one of us would have made the same call standing on the sidelines.

Yeah, but the ref who had the perfect view directly in front of them didn't make the call. It was the ref about 15 yards behind them. The ref with the good look should have told the other guy. We got hosed.

First thing they teach refs is don't call what you don't see.  Just because a guys head jerks you can't call a face mask unless you see the guys hand grabbing the mask.  Obviously there is no possible way the ref could have seen him grab the mask because it didn't happen.

This is why Ochs/Crouch wasn't called.

All offensive facemask penalties are 15 yards regardless.

Just an FYI about Jordy's.

    The "other" KSU
I guess I wouldn't have been all that upset if the bad calls were both ways (ala Big 12 Ch '03) - but they weren't. This pill is a tough one to swallow, I am OK with the loss as it showed that our Offense HAS made strides and our Defense is scary good. I am licking my chops thinking of ku!

I don't know if you could see it on TV, but the absolute worst (no) call was on their 50+ yard punt return.  Watts was tackled & held to the ground by 2 AU players.   He still almost made the tackle

It's frequently called when a coach promises one of the officials his daughter.
