We heard the same thing last year before K-State played ku, except you actually won that game vs. Texas.  Now it's all about moral victories to a mediocre Auburn team breaking in a completely new o-line.  ku is going to bring it to K-State in Manhattan.  I'm thinking at least 3 TD's again this season.

52-7... damn, ku beat CMU by more than #9 Michigan last season.

    The very best.
1)NU (this is their year, better get it done
2)KSU
3)CU (think their ceiling is higher than others
4/5) ku/MU (interchangeable suck)
6)ISU
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's sad when you're pimping Colorado in order to avoid admitting that ku is the 2nd best team in the North.  Colorado is horrible.

ku will eventually get a chance to prove their self.

Of course, it'll have to wait about a month. That must suck.

I saw with my own eyes how much better ku is this year.  We didn't even dominate Northwestern State as bad as we dominated Central Michigan last night.  Meanwhile, K-State is about on par with where you were last year minus big-time playmaker and NFL superstar Yamon Figurs.

Can't wait to prove it on the field in Manhattan.

I could see why you are excited, but lots of medicore BCS teams blitz crappy OOC teams all the time.

See, KSU vs North Texas in 2005.
ASU vs SJSU yesterday....etc..

must really suck that your team can't prove itself until october friggin 6th. I don't think I could describe in words how friggin fun the Auburn game was last night.

ku fans want to convince themselves that CMU is good by saying they were 10-4 last year and went to a bowl.

Auburn is like 3rd in the last 5 years in wins in the SEC, or something like that.  33-5 last 3 years?  I don't remember the stat.  Something DOD-like.

No way dude. The season just started. We'll have more opportuns. Besides, have you seen what most big 12 fans think of our performance? It's not just us that are impressed/surprised.

It's nice to be competitive and actually beat high quality opponents.

I think we have a shot vs. Texas.

The blackout is scary though :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

They hate us, and will likely be one of the biggest rivalry games of the year.

LOL, you idiots lose and most of you still have your team ranked in the top, only KSUCK logic!  Fortunately though for the rest of the world who doesnt share one common brain, ku with its 45 point victory is easily above a 0-1 team, regardless of who we played.  And speaking of that, I LOVE how ESPN ragged on KSUCK about always playing cupcakes and getting beat when they finally play someone of significance to start a season

As for why I have ku ranked so highly in mine:
I was expecting them to win last night, but not in blowout fashion.  And they switched to Todd Reesing who, although not as good as so many ku fans have pimped him out to be, is leaps and bounds better than Kerry Meier.  Given their schedule this year, they have the potential to win a LOT of games, and I think the fat man feels his seat getting pretty warm so will step it up in a no holds barred attack on every team they play.  They're also ridiculously good at home.  I'm predicting they beat Nebraska in Lawrence, and I still can't for the life of me figure out why they were stupid enough to give up home field advantage against Missouri.

There's really only one question about ku: How will they perform on the road?  Mangino has won exactly two road games in the Big XII, and they were against Iowa State last year and Missouri a few years back.  You can't have a successful season(and by that I mean .500 or above in conference play, OOC cupcake wins at home do not define good seasons) unless you can steal some games on the road.

We'll see when they come to Manhattan.
