Someone at Gopo said it would take us out of the offense by doubling him. I guess so but not sure.

Anyone know if it affects the shotgun formation?

Is this when we need a good fullback?

    shame on you, non-believers
We should have kept the RB in to block, that's for sure.

yes, you don't double an end with a guard bc pass protection is from the inside out.  You double ends with rb's and te's.

I'm guessing it was bc they wanted as many options in the secondary as possible.  if we wanted to go downfield you would have seen the rb's stay back to block but with the short quick hitting routes they wanted a dump off option, and figured the ball would be gone before freeman got hit.  really wasn't an issue til the 4th quarter.

It wasn't a bomb attempt, so he needed TE's and RB's around to pass to on screens.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

First we wonder why we're not thowing the ball down the field and now this?  At least we haven't seen, "why don't we run the ball more?"  Yet.

    The very best.
Honestly, I'm glad we abandoned the run game. I know people think we should have kept trying it, but it wasn't going to work.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
