On D rankings for b12 north. Why doesn't that stupid ass post here ?

http://www.tigerboard.com/boards/missouri-tigers.php?message=3520115

The Manhatter's Big 12 North Unit rankings - Defense..

DE

1) Nebraska - Carricker is a top 15 pick in the draft, Moore returns on the other side, and Turner had a great season as a true freshman.

TIE 2) Mizzou - Smith is a 4th year starter and all-time sack leader, Xzavie Jackson started for 3 years, and Skylar Sulak is a VERY talented young end. I think Sulak looked better as a RS Fr then Dan Cody did as a RS Soph.

TIE 2) Colorado - Best depth top to bottom at the position in the conference. Wright is very explosive off the edge, Ligon has a wealth of experience and great first two years though was slowed last year, Lucas had a very good true freshman season, and Barrett is a capable player.

4) Kansas - Como can pressure the passer and Allen can be disruptive when he isn't taking plays off. Neither is overly talented and nothing on the roster beyond these two.

5) Kansas State - Seiler is a returning starter though will not start in '06. Ian Campbell is a talented RS Soph who needed to add more size, he has. Other starter should be Rob Jackson who was a pass rushing wiz in Jayhawk conference. Eric Childs is a very fast edge rusher but undersized at 230 at the moment....Moses Manu a work in progress. The passs rushing ability is there.

6) Lost Berryman and other top two to graduation last year. Not a good situation on the edge at ISU.

DT

Not a good position to grade. Could almost flip a coin

1) Nebraska - I am going w/ Nebraska primarily on the ability to rush the passer. Cryer and Ogantadu(spell?) are good pass rushers. Yes, NU lost two long time starters but I think they will be fine w/ who these two, Suh, and a few JC coming in. NU might be setting themselves up for a major dip in DL play in '07 w/ all of the players scheduled to graduate.

2) Kansas State - Echols is a long time contributor and a good player when in shape. Cline is a blue collar worker. Mizzou fans I don't want to hear it when this kid basically forklifted Palmer in blowing up a play in the endzone for a safety vs. Mizzou. Moran has GREAT quickness and might really come into his own this season.

3) Kansas - McClinton returns. Eric Butler and Wilder are two players w/ size who saw time last year. Wilder is talented but does not bring it every play and is easily sealed. Todd Hasselhorst is move back to DT after moving to OL last year only to get injured before season started.

4) Mizzou - A lot of bodies but can anybody play?

5) Iowa State - I probably should put the Clones ahead of Mizzou based on Curvey but not sold they have anybody beyond him.

6) Colorado - Who plays DT for CU?

LB

1) Kansas State - I am completely sold KSU will have the best starting trio at LB in the North. Brandon Archer moves from Sam to Will where he will be allowed to freelance more. He has 3 career int returns for TD, what will he do at Will? Zach Diles will line up at Mike. Diles was a great playmaker last year. Reggie Walker will start at the Sam and he showed last year he is a star in the making...ask Nebaska fans about KSU's LBs. Diles knocked out Taylor, Acher caused a fumble, and Walker had two safeties. They are fast, hitters, and playmakers.

2) Nebraska - Bradley, McKeon, and Octavian. Bradley is a stud. McKeon is a very fast and instinctive LB. Octavian...we'll see. He has to be healthy and on the field before the hype can be realized.

3) Mizzou - depth issues but Harrington is 4 year starter and not a lack of
talent between Bacon, Alexander, and Christopher.

4) Colorado - Dizon did not have a big year in '05 but is still a player.
Washington might be 80 years old as long as he's been around CU.

5) Kansas - Replacing a lot...ku fans contend they can, we'll see.

6) Lose Dobbins who was the top LB in the North last year AND now lose
Roberson...uh oh.

CB
1) Nebraska - easy pick. Zack Bowman is immensley talented and if he imrpoves as much in '06 the way he did through the '05 season he will be a first round pick in next year's draft. I love Grixby. GREAT body control and change of direction. The kid can mirror a receiver and has the ball skills. He could erupt this year. A great talent from he JC ranks coming in the fall and w/ Greene in the wings NU is not in trouble if one of the starters goes down.

2) Colorado - easy #2 pick. Sims is one of the best pur corners in the conference...not one of the most talented but one of the best pure corners as a player. Wheatley is great quicks and started as a freshman and sophomore but missed all of last season and part of the season before w/ injuries. Vance Washington and Terry Washington are two other vets. CU has a LOT of experience lining up on the island.

3) Kansas State - 3 corners who started return. Bryan Baldwin reminds me a lot of Jerametrius Butler. he is a instinctive player who has the ability to stick to a receiver off the ball. Garvin is a explosive player and hitter. McKinney is opportunistic. A very talented JC corner is added in the fall in Ray Cheatham, the top Jayhawk conference corner.

4) DeAndre Jackson returns and has a ton of experience. A LOT of speed in the young corners. Chris Singleton has electrifying speed and could be the corner opposite Jackson. Potential wise this group can move up near Nebraska but nobody has experience outside of Jackson at the moment.

5) Mizzou - I like the size and talent w/ Tarrell and Johnson but they do not have experience like some of the other units listed. This is a cornerback unit that could jump into the top 2 depending on if a few of the players realize their potential. Tarrell is enormously talented.

6) Kansas - Talib is already one of conference's best and then we'll see what else they have. Again, nobody has played here but Talib out of those returning.

Safety

1) Colorado - Easy pick here. Billingsley returns for his 10th season(it seems). Dominique Brooks is one of the conference's best safeties but was hurt last year. CU is going to be very tough to throw the ball on in '06.

2) Kansas State - Watts was a stud in his 1st year as a starter. Kyle Williams returns at strong safety where he moved to from corner. A lot of potential w/ freshman Hollis and Herndon. This position is very solid for Cats.

3) Mizzou - Overstreet can play...we'll find out if anyone else can at safety for Mizzou.

Tie 4) Kansas - Kemp is back but nobody else w/ experience
Tie 4) Nebraska - 2nd Bullocks now gone...other starter graduated as well.

6) Iowa State - Lost everything

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I've learned to embrace it.

It has never actually bothered me.  I just think anyone so full of crap deserves to be made fun of.
