Quote
Coach Ron Prince compares it to what he saw at Virginia Tech.

"There were guys who wanted to play for the colors. They wanted to play for the local team ... the team they grew up cheering for," said Prince.

    The "other" KSU
I dont care where he gets it from if it involves the American Flag... those things can spread throughout the entire country IMO - it's the other stuff that drives me nuts. BTW, I know that at this point it is kind of generic - BUT here in Huntington, when Marshall scores, they hit this HUGE-sounding bell when they score a TD and you can hear it from all over the place... it's pretty cool.

We use to shoot a cannon, albeit when I was in school not very often :beerchug:

I almost forgot about the cannon, I miss it as well.  Imagine how great it would have been last year during the 3rd quarter of the texas game!

why did they stop the cannon anyways? didn't someone get hurt?  :blindfold:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

train sound >>> "cannon"
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

train sounds = too trainy
cannon sounds = extra brainy
i think i know which one Prince is going to pick in his decision making process.  just a matter-o-time folks.

They just replaced it...

Maybe they should compromise and have a train shot out of a cannon on every score.

Old people get more excited for a free t-shirt than for third downs on defense.

Or...

Replace the JCCC-L colors with purple and I think we have a winner.

Plus, that would be a big distraction to Leach when Tech comes to town.  It would take him out of his play-calling mojo.

Holy crap....yet another in a very, very long line of plagorized Prince "ideas."  He has seemingly no limits to this kind of thing.

Since it was my idea, can I be the bandana wearing canon pirate-train engineer?

Please?!?!
