"Since 1990, the Cats have been able to protect their halftime edge nearly 97 percent of the
time, going a spectacular 123-4 when leading at halftime."

Damn.

98 ccg, 01 NU, ??
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

2000 OU game, Ksu was down 31-17 at half.  OU scored quickly to make it 38-17 in the 3rd.  Then we scored back to back TDs quickly early in the 4th (Morgan 69 yd bomb and the block punt for TD than T-New scooped up)

The 2nd OU game in 2000... the score was tied at 10 because OU scored late in the 2nd after they blocked one of our punts and had a short field

2004 OU game.  I think we were down 17-14 or tied.  Archer picked that pass off in the 3rd to give us the lead 21-17.

like the 98 big 12 champ game?

ESPN classic is running an hour long recap of that game today.  I have never watched anything relating to that game since walking out of that dome in 98...I am tempted to watch.  Maybe its time to "exercise the demon."

I watched it about a month ago.  Not that painful, but it was painful watching the youtube highlights so the shock had already worn off.

I literally debated with my self for 10 minutes whether or not i should dvr it, or should I dvr the big 12 preview on CSTV.

I'll be recording the CSTV show.

Other than the few youtube clips and the clips that were inexplicably on the jumbotron in 2005 prior to the A&M at home ("Avenge me!), I've never watched that game again.

1. 98 CCG.  We were up 17-6 at the half
2. 01 NU.  We were up 14-13 at the half
3. 04 Isu.  We were up 10-6 at the half.
4. 97 Cotton Bowl.   We were up 8-5 at half thanks to that hail mary as time was running out.

It's kind of a common sense thing.

When we were up 4 TDs at the half, we tended to win those games.

Now that we suck, and are lucky to be leading at all, the games will be harder to win.

that's what makes the 98 ccg all that much more painful.

17-6..and you lose?

Not only 17-6 at the half, but 27-12 very early in the 4th quarter.     :curse:

A&M scored in triple OT on 3rd and 17.

I was physically ill after that play.

Yea, that just occured to me.  I guess I was thinking that it was always the year that the actual season was played in, but the bowls after New Years do count the actual year.  Kinda weird when you consider that the "championship games" are always played in the next calander year.  So Florida, the winners of the 2007 (?) National Championship game, are the 2006 NCAA D1 Football Champions.(?)  Better get Dr. Emmett Brown to explain this to me.
