The problem with that philosophy is that Virginia has a higher quantity and quality of recruits to choose from.  For instance, on Rivals, Virginia has a top 30 for 2008, Kansas has a top 10 for 2008.

No, we were pretty much parallel until 2004.

The other difference is that VT has spent $100 million on facilities in the last 5 years, and KSU has spent about $17 or $18 Million.
